Been a while.
The semester is wrapping up, filming for OC3 is complete (
episodes are steadily being released), and I had the day off, so a
new episode of MGGB has just been released as well! I got back in apologetic contact with the crew of Red Car/Green Car, and am going to resume production on that as well. I haven't heard anything from the rest of the crew of "Link and Ganon Get a Job" so I don't have much to work with there. It sounds like it got dropped. Anyway, here's hoping I can produce a little more consistently from here on out!

Woo! I've finally joined the ranks of professional actors!
This afternoon, I recieved a phone call telling me I had been cast in a paying role; a webseries for my college I auditioned for a week ago. I guess the next step is an agent!

Aaaaand we're back!
Recently I announced a hiatus from voice acting, and it's still in effect, but for the most part it was so I could focus on projects I was already commited to, from a producer standpoint or otherwise. Which means "Red Car/Green Car" and "Metal Gear: Ghost Babel" are hopefully back in full swing. Check out the updates on the SOLIDER Productions pages here at RiverKanoff.com!
Thanks for waiting, I imagine it must be frustrating, as slow as I am!
All the best,
River K.

Hello all,
Just a bit of an update here! I'm currently doing a weekly "variety show" type thing on YouTube with Madison Baker. Strictly for fun and laughs!
Madison and I are also in the process of writing a short YouTube series to be filmed here in Oklahoma, so look out for that one.
And if you haven't become a fan of Cait Brasel yet, you should look up her actor page here on FaceBook! Cait and I are writing another mini-series, this time based on the 007 series!
Aaaaaaand as if that wasn't enough writing, I am working with Ryan Gilbert and Morgan Barnhart on my very first commercialized project, but also from a writing standpoint. We plan to have a pilot released very soon!
And in non-writing news, MGGB is delayed, and I'm doing some re-recording for Red Car/Green Car, but we hope to have them both back on track shortly! I know I said I'd have MGGB wrapped up by the New Year, but it looks like it wasn't meant to be. I'm just as anxious to get it finished as the rest of you though. Thanks!
All the best,
River K.

Wow, the school semester ends and suddenly I find myself with a slew of new projects. I'm gonna stick to it though, no matter how long it takes.
Ok, so, before I begin, "Metal Gear: Ghost Babel" and "Red Car/Green Car" should be wrapped up around the New Year, if not before, since the semester ends in a week for me, so I should have a lot more time on my hands to record and produce.
In new project news, I've recently been casted again TWICE as "Sonic the Hedgehog." So yeah, that's got me all, pumped, and stuff. Unfortunately, the most recent project was just cancelled by it's producer. It was supposed to be a dub of all the cutscenes from the game "Sonic Adventure." One of the actors brought up the possibility of someone else picking up the slack, and I volunteered. It will be my first dub, from a producer stand-point, but I'm looking forward to it.
Also, in a recent Skype conversation between "Mr. West", "Jack Skellinghog" and I, the idea for a "Sonic" themed fan project was hatched, inspired by the AVAs who generally get cast as "Sonic." I'm calling it "Sonic Squared," meaning two "Sonics," but it's still up in the air as to whether or not there will be... more, than two "Sonics."
Aaaaaaaand to top it off, a friend in my acting class has expressed on more than one occasion that he, in his own words, would love to be the first "Black James Bond." Well, today, I saw Sean Combs' audition reel and proposal saying that he felt he was "best-suited to play the first black James Bond." In my opinion, the reel was terrible. There was no acting, it was just him surrounded by women and flaunting his expensive toys. Now, I'll admit, Bond always gets the pretty girls and the nice toys, but the degree he showed here was almost nothing more than the usual "pimp" advertising scheme, only in a TUXEDO. Yeah. So. I brought it up to my friend, and shortly thereafter had an idea for a mini-series we could work on over the summer portraying him as the new Bond, in a sense... I'm not talking about another audio drama people. I mean live action. Coming soon.
Oh, and last, but not least, in my line-up of MGGB actors, Krysta Noroña was originally double-cast to "Jenner" and "Sophie." I talked to her about it and after getting the go-ahead, recasted the role of "Sophie" to actress Cait Brasel. We recorded her lines (ON LOCATION mind you, not over the internet) Tuesday, and I'm pleased with them. So, everybody please give a warm welcome to our newest addition.
